Our intervention has allowed us:
- To know aspects about the bioecology of sea turtles off the coast of Angola;
- To know the status of sea turtles along the coast of Angola;
- To register and protect more than 35,000 postures;
- To the inclusion of more than 3,680,000 small new turtles in the marine environment;
- To contribute to the awareness of coastal communities in favor of safeguarding sea turtles;
- To contribute to taking conservation measures and designing the National Strategy for the Conservation of Biodiversity in Angola;
- To providing fieldwork to students in the Biology course at the Faculty of Science at UAN;
- To train staff with principles related to Conservation Biology;
- To contribute to reducing joblessness, improving the social conditions of some families and integrating more people into conservation processes;
- To develop environmental education activities to raise awareness among communities and other users on the Angolan coast.
